Like its sibling, the Ficus lyrata or fiddle leaf fig the Benjamina Ficus plant needs lots of light too, plan on placing it in an east, west or south facing window. Outdoors is great for patio, porch, or decks preferably under shade but it can withstand direct sunlight as well, customers in the northern climates may enjoy this beauty outdoors during spring to fall, but must be brought inside once night temps drop to low 40s.
